Rape accused TV actor Karan Oberoi granted bail by Bombay HC

TV actor and Band of Boys member Karan Oberoi was earlier accused of rape and blackmailing by a woman. A month after the incident, the actor has been granted bail by Bombay High Court. Granting a Rs 50,000 bail to Oberoi, Justice Revati Mohite-Dere came down heavily on the victim and police in the matter, said his lawyer Dinesh Tiwari. Oberoi's close friends Pooja Bedi and the members of Band of Boyz came in support of the actor alleging that the woman is using the law for her personal vendetta.
