Now that the actor is doing good, she decided to donate her plasma for the vaccine to treat other coronavirus patients but she cannot because of low haemoglobin. A senior official King George’s Medical University told DNA, "Blood sample of Kanika Kapoor was examined and almost all parameters about plasma donation were found to be appropriate. However, the haemoglobin quantity was found less than the standard. Hence, she has to wait for a few days for plasma donation."

Irrfan Khan dies at 53 fighting colon infection in Mumbai

Actor Irrfan Khan has died in Mumbai, he was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital with a colon infection. The acclaimed actor battled a tumour for several months and returned to Mumbai a few months ago after being treated in the UK. He was rushed to hospital yesterday following a colon infection and then his condition deteriorated. Our sources told us that he was put on a ventilator. Irrfan Khan is survived by his wife Sutapa and two sons. Yesterday, his spokesperson confirmed that he had been taken to the intensive care unit and later, dismissed rumours that Irrfan Khan had died. The shocking news comes just three days after the actor's mother Saeda Begum breathed her last on Saturday in Jaipur where she used to stay. However, owing to the ongoing lockdown, the actor could not physically attend his mother's last rites and reportedly paid his last respect through video conferencing.
