TikTok banned in India: Jannat Zubair to Riya KishanChandani, TikTok celebs react on ban of Chinese apps

The Indian government has banned 59 Chinese apps which comes in the backdrop of current stand-off along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh with Chinese troops. The decision to ban Tiktok and 59 other apps with Chinese links were made saying they were prejudicial to sovereignty, integrity, and security of the country. The Information Technology Ministry in a statement said it has received many complaints from various sources, including several reports about the misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for "stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users' data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside India". Be it commoner or celebrity, everyone is taking the decision positively and sharing their views on social media. Beyonce to release ‘Black Is King’ visual album on Disney Plus

Disney Plus will be releasing new visual album “Black Is King”, written, directed and executive produced by pop star Beyonce, on July 31. The visual album is inspired by “The Lion King” and will release just after the one-year anniversary of the theatrical release of Disney’s live-action remake of the 1994 animated classic, reported Variety. Beyonce had voiced lioness Nala in the 2019 movie. Based on the music of “The Lion King: The Gift”, which also came out last year in conjunction with the remake, the visual album features artistes like Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter and Jessie Reyez, Wizkid, Shatta Wale, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Yemi Alade, Busiswa and Salatiel.
