Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam’s Uri; The Surgical Strike, that is wreaking havoc at the box office has been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh. The film has been exempted from the state GST, which means that the audience will not have to pay the state GST however the central GST continues. Out of the total of 18 per cent tax levied on a movie ticket worth Rs 100, the viewers will have to pay only 9 per cent. For a movie ticket costing Rs 100, the audience will pay a tax of only 6 per cent.
