Bollywood has a long list of glorified heroes who jump from tall buildings and fight the baddies with great ease and vigor. Their strength makes them all the more likable for the viewers. But what forces the audience to whistle and laud for a hero is a great villain. A villain makes the hero ‘heroic’ for the audience. While actors in the 80-90s preferred to be loved good hero in the films, the new generation of actors try to step into the shoes of the villain and how. From Shah Rukh Khan in Fan to Ranveer Singh in Padmaavat, the heroes of today are bringing out the combination of foulness, immorality, and maliciousness of the villains onscreen with such dedication that it has added an extra star to their list of brilliant performances. Latest villain in question being Akshay Kumar in 2.0 who has crossed all limits to transform into a villain that will be remembered in the history.
