Suriya starrer NGK sells over 10,000 tickets in Tamil Nadu

It seems like Suriya fans are super-excited to watch the political-thriller NGK aka Nandha Gopalan Kumaran in theatres in first day, first show. Hours after the advance booking was open in Tamil Nadu, the Tamil Nadu Theatres Association announced that a whopping number of 10,000 tickets have been sold for FDFS of Suriya in Tamil Nadu alone. The tweet reads, "10,000+ tickets sold out already for #NGK all over Tamilnadu. More theatres to open reservations later today. Huge Hype! #NGKFromMay31." NGK stars Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in important roles while Devaraj plays a pivotal role. The film is directed by Selvaraghavan and bankrolled by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. The official date of release is 31st May, 2019.
