Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached Kangana Ranaut for Padmaavat before Deepika Padukone

Kangana Ranaut is known to be an outspoken actress. Currently, the actress is on a rampage blasting at Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan and several others. The new revelation made by Kangana claims that she was offered the lead role in Padmaavat. In a recent interview with Mid-Day, the actress said that she met director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a brief narration but things couldn't materialise as she was doing Manikarnika back then. ''We had a brief meeting for Padmaavat (2018). He narrated me the script.  I was doing Manikarnika then, so it didn’t go anywhere. But we had a brief narration,'' she said.
